This guide explains how to create LiveUSB in wifislax, in other words, how to emulate a CD of Installation of wifislax using a turnkey USB. This is particularly useful to install wifislax in the portable modern one without reader of CD - ROM. Wifiway is executed in a pendrive of 1GB. Just as in way livecd but installed tablet in a pendrive usb. This process can be realized of two different forms, in Windows and in linux. For Windows the file what used is bootinst.bat and for linux the script bootinst.sh in the folder /boot. In Windows it is enough to decompress her wifiway-0.8.iso and to copy the folders /boot and /wifislax in the pendrive, then to gain access to the folder /boot inside the pendrive and to execute puncturing directly on the file bootinst.bat. Solution: rename the folder wifiway to wifislax cd /boot It already only stays to begin the machine again, having the order of the BOOT changed in the bios, giving him preference to the USB with regard to the HDD, even in some teams you must annul all the internal and external devices of starter. |
